Fried Meat Loaf with Brussels Sprouts and Triplets

Ingredients
 

Fried meat loaf:

  • 2 Small slices of meat loaf, 60 g each
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 4 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • 4 tbsp Sunflower oil

Brussels sprouts:

  • 750 g Small Brussels sprouts / cleaned 375 g
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 6 tbsp Cooking cream
  • 3 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 3 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill

Triplets:

  • 450 g Potatoes (triplets)
  • 1 tsp Salt

Serve:

  • 2 Small tomato halves for garnish
  • Remaining breaded egg for garnish

Instructions
 

Fried meat loaf:

  • Bread the liver cheese (flour, beaten egg and breadcrumbs), fry in a small pan with sunflower oil (4 tbsp) on both sides until golden-brown and keep warm in the oven at 50 ° C until serving. Fry the rest of the breaded eggs in the pan, remove them, let cool down a bit and cut out 2 hearts for garnish.

Brussels sprouts:

  • Carefully clean the Brussels sprouts, cook in salted water for about 10 minutes and drain through a kitchen sieve. Pour butter (1 tbsp) and cooking cream (6 tbsp) into the hot saucepan, toss the Brussels sprouts in it and season with coarse sea salt from the mill (3 big pinches) and colored pepper from the mill (3 big pinches).

Triplets:

  • Peel red-skinned triplets (small reddish potatoes), cook in salted water for about 20 minutes and drain.

Serve:

  • Serve fried meatloaf with Brussels sprouts and triplets, each garnished with a tomato half and a fried egg heart.
