Fried mushrooms

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g mushrooms
  • some fat for frying
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • 1 piece(s) herb butter, about 30 – 40 g
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • 2 garlic cloves

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Clean the mushrooms, slice them into approximately 1 cm thick slices, and fry them in a little fat to the desired consistency. Then place them in a sieve and let the fat drain. Dice the shallot and add them to the pan with the mushrooms and herb butter. Sauté briefly. Then add the crème fraîche and the crushed garlic cloves, and season everything with salt, pepper, and paprika. We serve it with toasted whole-grain toast.
