Fried Potato Cubes with Thuringian Bratwurst
The perfect fried potato cubes with thuringian bratwurst recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Spices
- 1 fresh Fresh onion
- 1 thickness Peeled garlic clove
- 1 small piece 5 cm Leeks / leeks
- 2 Tablespoon Frying oil
- 2 fresh Thuringian sausages
- Salt flavored
- Pepper from the grinder
- Dried marjoram
- Freshly ground caraway seeds
The sausages
- Since these sausages are quite thick, I fry them slowly and like to put a lid on the pan. This ensures that they are through. With a little frying oil, of course.
The fried potatoes
- A wide, large pan, brush with a little frying oil, preheat. (But not too hot) I peel the potatoes and cut them into 1 cm thick slices, and then into French fries, pens and then into small cubes. The onion in cubes, then the garlic clove in cubes and the leek.
- The pan is hot, with the little oil, put the potato cubes in the pan and then just show patience. Turn the sausages over and fry them nicely on all sides. Now I toss the fried potatoes and always add some oil with the brush, when the potatoes show color, only then do I add the onions and garlic, so they don’t burn, I also season everything now.
- In the middle I fried a fried egg with the rest of the heat. Sprinkled with parsley last, done. It was also quick. You just need a little patience with the potatoes, but cooking is fun, so everything is good.
