Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 375 g flour (wheat flour, type 405)
  • 15 g yeast
  • 250 ml water or milk
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 250 g sugar, cubes
  • some milk
  • Cinnamon and sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 25 minutes

Milk or water should be at room temperature. Form a yeast dough from the first four ingredients and let it rise for 1 hour. Roughly crush the sugar cubes and stir them into the risen dough. Pour the dough into a loaf pan and let it rise for another hour. Bake in the oven at 180°C for approximately 45-50 minutes. Brush with milk, sugar, and cinnamon shortly before the end of the baking time.
