Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g margarine or butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cream margarine (good quality) or butter until fluffy. Slowly add the sugar and vanilla sugar. Continue stirring. Once the sugar is well blended, gradually beat in the eggs. When the mixture is fluffy, sift in the flour mixed with baking powder and continue stirring vigorously. It’s important that everything is thoroughly blended. This way, this fruit base will taste like sponge cake. Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes at 175°C fan-assisted oven or 200°C top and bottom heat. The base should be light brown.
