Fruit salad with vanilla yogurt sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g strawberries
  • 250 g melon(s) (e.g. watermelon or honeydew melon)
  • 2 oranges (blood oranges)
  • 2 kiwis
  • 100 g sugar
  • 5 cups of yogurt (cream yogurt)
  • ¼ liter whipped cream
  • Butter vanilla flavoring (alternatively fresh vanilla)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the fruit and peel if desired. Chop the fruit into small pieces. Scoop out melon balls. Mix everything together and sprinkle with 50g of sugar. Whip the cream and mix with the yogurt. Season to taste with vanilla extract and the remaining sugar. Serve the fruit in attractive dessert bowls, each with a generous dollop of the yogurt.
