Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 small pineapple
  • 4 spring onions
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 2 tbsp oil, neutral
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce, dark
  • Tabasco, to taste
  • 1 tsp, stratified thyme, dried

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

meatless grilling

Quarter the pineapple lengthwise, remove the tough core in the middle, and separate the flesh from the skin. Cut the flesh into approximately 2-centimeter pieces. Trim, wash, and dry the spring onions, then cut into 2-centimeter pieces. Wash and deseed the bell peppers, and cut them into desired size. Thread everything alternately onto 4 skewers. Mix together the oil, soy sauce, Tabasco, and thyme and brush the skewers with it. Marinate for 30 minutes. Then grill for about 4 minutes on each side.
