especially delicious with spicy tomato-orange sauce

Peel and finely dice the onion, peel the banana, and mash it with a fork. Knead the minced meat with the diced onion, bananas, and egg. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Form the dough into small balls and brown them on all sides in hot fat for 10 minutes. Then remove from the pan. Trim and wash the leek and cut it into thin rings. Briefly toss it in the remaining fat and remove immediately. Sprinkle the curry powder into the fat, sweat briefly, and add the flour. Deglaze with the cream, bring to a boil while stirring, then simmer covered for 5 minutes. Season the sauce with salt and pepper and serve with the meatballs and leek rings. It is especially delicious with the tomato and orange sauce.
