Funny country cookies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 70 ml milk
  • Flour
  • Cocoa powder
  • Food coloring

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Knead the flour, sugar, and vanilla sugar with butter, milk, and egg to form a glossy dough. Divide the dough into the number of portions needed for the different flag colors and color each one accordingly. If you want a portion to be yellow, you don’t necessarily need to add food coloring. For a black portion, use unsweetened cocoa powder. Place the dough balls in the refrigerator for about an hour. Then roll out the portions individually on a floured surface and arrange them into oblong blocks (like the black and white cookies) in the desired flag colors. Wrap each block in aluminum foil and place it in the freezer for a good half hour. Then cut the dough blocks into 2-3 mm thin slices and place the cookies on a baking sheet. The flags should be clearly visible. Bake the cookies at 180°C for about 10 minutes.
