Gaby's sweet potato mash

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g sweet potatoes
  • ½ cup Cremefine
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 150 ml milk
  • salt and pepper
  • Nutmeg, freshly grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel the sweet potatoes, cut them into chunks, and boil them in salted water. Drain the water and mash the potatoes with the butter. Warm the milk slightly and add it to the mashed potatoes along with the Cremefine. Adjust the amount of liquid slightly, as potatoes vary in firmness; use a little less if possible. Season generously with fresh nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
