Garlic Bolognese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef or mixed
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 10 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1 onion(s), finely chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 tsp, heaped oregano
  • some oil
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp, levelled sugar

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Pasta sauce for real garlic fans

Fry the minced meat in hot oil until crumbly, seasoning with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add the onions and fry. Add the garlic cloves whole and fry briefly. Add the tomatoes and their juices, sugar, and oregano. Simmer over medium heat with the lid closed until the garlic cloves are soft. Roughly mash the cloves in the sauce with a fork (you can also use a potato masher), add the tomato paste, season to taste, and serve.
