Garlic bread

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 baguette(s), fresh
  • Pepper, white ground
  • 1 tbsp salt (to taste)
  • 500 g butter
  • 2 bunches of parsley
  • 10 cloves garlic
  • 4 tsp lemon juice, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Chop the garlic and parsley into wafer-thin slices. Mix all ingredients well, season to taste, and then refrigerate. Preheat oven to 170°C. Halve the baguette into two equal-looking pieces, slice them crosswise like a doner kebab, and spread a thick layer of garlic paste. Place the four baguette pieces in the lower part of the oven and bake for about 7-10 minutes until golden brown. Now cut each baguette piece into approximately 2.5cm-wide slices and let cool for 3 minutes. For your calculations: In my experience, one baguette is enough for two people.
