Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 large chicken, approx. 1.2 kg
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 5 medium-sized garlic cloves
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp marjoram
- 1 tbsp basil
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- salt and pepper
- n. B. Broth, granulated
- 1 tbsp oil
- n. B. Chicken seasoning
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes
Wash the chicken and pat dry. For the filling, remove the parsley stalks and roughly tear the leaves. Peel and roughly chop the garlic cloves, and roughly dice the onion. Add the oregano, marjoram, basil, paprika, salt, pepper, and granulated stock. Place everything in a bowl and mix well with a little oil. Stuff the mixture into the chicken and season the outside with chicken seasoning. Cook the chicken in the oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack for about 75 minutes. After about two-thirds of the cooking time, turn the chicken over and place it on its back. The filling gives the chicken a really great flavor! We eat the chicken as a main course, without anything else, but you can of course make side dishes.
