Garlic cream soup

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 10 cloves garlic
  • 50 g butter
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1 liter of water
  • 2 vegetable stock cubes
  • 125 ml whipped cream
  • salt and pepper
  • some bread(s) (wholemeal bread), diced
  • some garlic
  • some parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Sauté them together in butter, dust with flour, and pour in the water. Add the stock cubes. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Purée the soup with a hand blender. Finish with the cream. For the garnish, fry the whole-grain bread cubes, garlic, and parsley in a little butter and serve with the soup.
