Garlic potatoes with calamari

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg potatoes (waxy)
  • 1 bulb(s) garlic
  • 2 jars of black olives without stones
  • 2 packs of squid (calamris rings), frozen
  • Salt
  • oil
  • Pizza seasoning

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the potatoes and cut into bite-sized pieces. Separate the garlic bulb into cloves, remove the skin, and cut into small pieces. Drain the olives. Lightly oil a baking tray—preferably a drip tray—and arrange the potato pieces on it. Scatter the olives and garlic pieces over the top. Drizzle everything with a little oil, season with salt, and sprinkle generously with pizza seasoning. Cover the baking tray with aluminum foil (or baking paper), but place something on top—a fork, spoon, or knife—otherwise the paper won’t stay in place—and place it in the oven. Bake for 50 minutes at 180°C (convection oven). After this time, remove the aluminum foil or baking paper, place the calamari rings on top, and bake uncovered for another 20-30 minutes. The time depends on how browned the calamari rings are. Serve with a salad.
