Recipe for hamburger buns

For the hamburger buns, weigh the flour in a mixing bowl, then crumble in the yeast, and mix everything briefly. Heat the milk (in a saucepan or in the microwave), then dissolve the sugar, salt, and butter in it, then add the lukewarm mixture to the flour and yeast. Knead everything vigorously with a mixer and dough hook. Then, cover the dough with plastic wrap and place it in a warm place for about 1 hour (I cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap, secure it with a rubber band, and place it in the sink filled with warm water, then cover it with tea towels). Once the dough has risen, knead everything again, then divide the portion into quarters (if making 4 portions). Roll the four pieces of dough into balls and flatten them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (so that each bun still has enough room on the sheet while it rises in the oven). Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 15 minutes. If you like, you can spread a mixture of water and sesame seeds on the buns before baking. In a bowl, season the ground beef with marjoram, salt, and pepper, and knead everything together well. Then divide the meat into 4 portions. Shape each portion into a “meatball” (e.g., first form it into a ball and press it between two breakfast plates to the desired thickness). Heat 1 teaspoon of oil for each meatball in a pan and then fry the piece of meat. Mix ketchup and mustard in a bowl. Cut open the hamburger buns and spread 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise on the bottom. Then place 1 lettuce leaf and 1 slice of tomato on each bun, place 1 meatball on top, spread each with 1 tablespoon of the ketchup-mustard mixture, and then arrange onion rings and pickle slices on top. Finally, place the top of the hamburger bun on top.
