Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 piece(s) ginger, palm-sized
- 5 large organic lemons
- 1 bunch of wormwood
- 100 g liquid honey
- 500 g gelling sugar 2:1
- n. B. water
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Peel the ginger and chop very finely. Wash the lemons and grate the zest. Wash the wormwood and roughly chop it. Weigh the gelling sugar and honey. Squeeze the lemons and add the juice to a large pot. Add water to make 1 liter of liquid. Add the prepared ingredients. Bring to a rolling boil for about 3 minutes, test for setting, and pour into sterilized 250 ml jars. Then let stand with the lid on for 5 minutes. Tip: Replace the wormwood with thyme.
