Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 root ginger, approx. 75 g, fresh
  • 2 lemons
  • 2 kiwis
  • 3 oranges
  • 100 ml honey
  • 2 liters of water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes

healthy, spicy

Fill a sufficiently large pot with two liters of water. Thinly slice the fresh ginger and add it to the pot with the cold water. Bring everything to a boil. After boiling, simmer for at least three hours at approximately 80 degrees Celsius. Split the ginger in half and squeeze the juice. Pour the juice into a suitable container and set aside. The remaining pulp can now be added to the pot with the simmering ginger. After the ginger and pulp have simmered for three hours, bring everything to a boil again and remove from the heat. Now add the 100 ml of honey and the squeezed fruit juice to the pot and stir. Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a suitable container, and your healthy ginger tea vitamin fruit bomb is ready. Note: I pour the tea into two 1-liter thermos flasks, so I can drink the two liters throughout the day. Feel free to use other fruits according to your taste.
