Ginger tea with honey and coconut milk

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 40 g sugar
  • 50 g fresh ginger
  • 9 peppercorns, white
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 250 ml coconut milk
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 7 minutes; Total time approx. 22 minutes

Peel and grate the ginger. Crush the peppercorns. Pour 500 ml of water into a pot. Add the ginger, peppercorns, honey, salt, and sugar. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 5 minutes. Pour in the coconut milk, bring back to a boil, and simmer for 2 minutes.
