Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 150 g gingerbread – assorted, crumbled
- 250 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 250 g flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 packet of baking powder
- ¼ liter eggnog
- 2 tbsp orange juice

our winter favorite cake
Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Gradually add the eggs. Then sift in the flour and baking powder. Finally, add the eggnog and crumbled gingerbread. Pour the dough into a wreath pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (convection oven) for about 50 minutes. While still hot, drizzle with orange juice. Tip: A lemon glaze made from 200g powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, and 1-2 tablespoons warm water goes best with this.
