Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 300 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 100 g nuts, ground
  • 1 tbsp gingerbread spice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 150 g butter, liquid
  • 250 ml milk
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Christmas baking, makes about 20 pieces

In a bowl, thoroughly mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, ground nuts, and gingerbread spice. In another bowl, whisk the remaining ingredients until fluffy. Once the mixture is well blended, fold it into the batter using a hand mixer. Pour onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes. Once cooled, cover with icing. Cut into small rectangles and let cool completely.
