Dampen a tea towel and wring it out lightly. Place the wafer/wafer sheet on one half of the towel and cover with the other half. Melt the margarine and chocolate in a saucepan. Add the sugar, walnuts, biscuits, and vanilla sugar. Finally, add the beaten egg yolk for better binding. Test whether the wafer/wafer sheet has become pliable due to the moisture in the towel. If not, leave the wafer/wafer in the towel. If so, tip the entire mixture onto it at once and spread it over half the sheet. Now roll the whole thing up like a sausage. It is best to wrap it tightly in aluminum foil and let it stand and dry for at least 1 day. Once the roll is dry, cut into thin slices for serving as needed. This is a quick and easy no-bake cake that can be easily frozen.
