Glazed Chicken and Pineapple Skewers

The perfect glazed chicken and pineapple skewers recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Chicken breast
  • 1 Pineapple
  • 2 green Chili peppers
  • 1 branch Rosemary
  • 4 tbsp Honey
  • 2 ÊL Cider vinegar or sherry vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 6 Wooden skewers

Preliminary remark

  1. Soak the wooden skewers in water for about 30 minutes beforehand so that they do not burn on the grill. Then dry well and oil lightly, then the meat will come off the skewer very easily afterwards.

preparation

  1. Peel and quarter the pineapple, cut out the stalk. Cut half of the pineapple into slices, which are then skewered. Cut the chicken breast into cubes and skewer alternately with the pineapple on the wooden skewers and then add a little salt and pepper.
  2. Cut the remaining pineapple into small cubes and place in a tall container. Cut the chilli peppers into rings and add to the pineapple, strip the rosemary needles from the branch and add them as well. Now add the honey and vinegar and puree everything very finely.
  3. Place the skewers on the grill and brush the glaze over and over while grilling.
