Günis Coleslaw

The perfect günis coleslaw recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1,3 kilogram Pointed cabbage or white cabbage without a stalk
  • 1 medium-sized Diced green peppers
  • 1 medium-sized Red peppers diced
  • 2 medium-sized Diced onion
  • 500 ml Mineral water (sparkling water)
  • 500 ml Wine vinegar
  • 200 ml Olive oil
  • 4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Caraway seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 140 g Sugar
  1. Remove the stalk from the white cabbage and cut as desired. Blanch briefly in salted water for approx. 1.5 min. Dice the paprika and onion and mix with the cabbage. Cook the remaining ingredients together for about 10 minutes and then pour them over the coleslaw. It is best to let it steep for about 1 day.
