Gnocchi – casserole with broccoli and minced meat

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g gnocchi, from the refrigerated section
  • 450 g broccoli, fresh or frozen
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • 125g mozzarella
  • 350 g minced beef
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 100 ml red wine
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 50 ml cream (Culinara cooking cream)
  • 2 tbsp, streaky sauce thickener, light

Wash the broccoli, divide it into florets, and blanch in salted water for 2 minutes, then drain. Cook the gnocchi in salted water until they float to the surface, then rinse briefly and drain. Wash and halve the tomatoes, and slice the mozzarella. Heat the oil in a pan and brown the minced meat. Pour in the wine, stock, and cream and bring to a boil briefly. Stir in the sauce thickener and season with salt and pepper. Place the gnocchi, broccoli, and tomatoes in a baking dish, spread the minced meat sauce on top, and top with the mozzarella. Bake in a preheated oven on the middle rack at 180°C (convection oven) for 30 minutes.
