Gnocchi gratin

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 packs of gnocchi
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 5 large tomatoes, puree
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 1 onion(s), chopped
  • 3 tbsp Parmesan
  • ½ jar red wine
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • salt and pepper
  • Parsley
  • Thyme
  • 2 packs of mozzarella, sliced

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Casserole with peppers, minced meat and tomato sauce

Cook gnocchi according to the package instructions. Cut the bell peppers into medium-sized cubes. Brown the ground beef with the onions, adding the bell peppers. Then add the pureed tomatoes and Parmesan cheese. Gradually add the red wine and sour cream. Season with paprika and the other spices. Place the gnocchi in a baking dish and pour the tomato sauce over them. Finally, spread the mozzarella cheese on top. Bake at 180-200°C for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
