Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g gooseberries, ripe
  • 250 g apricot(s), dried
  • 250 ml fresh orange juice
  • 1 package of gelling sugar, 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 33 minutes

Cut the apricots into thin strips and soak them in the orange juice for 2 hours. Bring the washed and trimmed gooseberries to a boil and blend briefly with a hand blender. Then add the juice, the soaked apricots, and the gelling sugar. Cook according to the instructions and immediately fill into twist-off jars and seal.
