Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g beef goulash
- 250 g pork goulash
- 3 large onions
- 2 small carrots
- 1 bell pepper(s), green
- 1 red bell pepper(s)
- 1 large can of tomatoes, peeled
- Paprika powder, sweet
- Paprika powder, hot
- Salt and pepper, black
- Garlic
- oil
- 1 liter of water
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Cut the meat into small cubes (approx. 2-2.5 cm). Clean and slice the carrots and cut the bell peppers into thin strips. Remove the stems from the tomatoes, if necessary, and roughly chop them. Heat the oil and brown the meat in batches, then set aside. Brown the carrots, onions, and bell peppers. Add the meat and tomatoes, season with plenty of sweet paprika (approx. 1 heaped teaspoon), garlic (granulated or a crushed clove), salt, and pepper. Pour in approximately 1 liter of hot water, bring to a boil, then simmer for approximately 1 hour, seasoning again with the spices. Serve with baguette.
