Ingredients

  • 6 Apples - 6-8 pieces, depending on the size
  • 350 g Margarine
  • 4 Eggs - 4-5 pieces, depending on the size
  • 400 g Sugar
  • 300 g Flour
  • 100 g Durum wheat semolina
  • 1 packet Custard powder
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 1 Vanilla flavor
  • A little sugar + cinnamon + butter flakes as a topping

Instructions

  • Put the soft margarine, eggs and sugar (including vanilla sugar) in a bowl and work with the mixer to a smooth mass. Mix the flour with the baking powder. Mix the semolina with the sachet of vanilla pudding powder. Gradually add flour and semolina alternately. Finally stir in the vanilla flavor.
  • Then peel and core the apples and cut into small wedges.
  • Spread the dough on a baking sheet (lined with baking paper) and distribute it evenly.
  • Now distribute the apple wedges close together on the dough and press in gently.
  • Finally, put a few more flakes of butter over the cake. Mix together the cinnamon and sugar in a cup and distribute evenly on the cake. I take about 5-6 heaped tablespoons of sugar and about 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. But everyone should decide according to their taste!
  • The whole thing goes in the oven for about 35-40 minutes at 180 °!
