Mix the ingredients for the dough and knead well. Form several tennis ball-sized balls from the dough and let them rest for about 2-3 hours. This should make about 10-12 servings. Then roll out each piece of dough to a diameter of about 28 cm and bake individually in the oven at 180°C until crispy brown, then let it cool. Meanwhile, make a pudding with the remaining ingredients. Place a sheet of dough in a round dish and spread with some of the pudding. Top with another sheet of dough and spread with more pudding. Continue in this way until both the dough and pudding are used up. There should be about 10 layers in total. Finish with the pudding. If you like, you can sprinkle the cake with desiccated coconut or ground walnuts.
