an ancient Baden family recipe, this cake my grandma always had to bake for my dad’s birthday

Cream the sugar, butter, and egg yolks until fluffy. Add the rolls, previously soaked in the warm milk and mashed into a paste. Then stir in the kirsch, plenty of cinnamon, and the pitted cherries. Finally, carefully fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites. Grease the bottom of a 26cm springform pan and sprinkle generously with breadcrumbs. Pour in the batter and bake at a “good” temperature for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. I got the recipe from my grandmother. What is “good” temperature?
