Grandma's egg salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 2 tbsp mustard, medium hot
  • 2 tsp mustard, hot
  • Vinegar
  • oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

My grandma always made this salad with leftover Easter eggs!

Slice the hard-boiled eggs with an egg slicer and place them in a bowl. Mix the two mustards, vinegar, and oil together to make a thick marinade. Season with salt, pepper, sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour the dressing over the eggs. Let it marinate for a few hours. Before serving, finely chop the chives and scatter them over the salad. Serve with toasted country bread. Tastes best at room temperature.
