Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg elderberries
- 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla or chocolate pudding
- Sugar
- white bread
- vanilla sugar
- Milk
- 750 ml water
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Boil the elderberries in about 3/4 liter of water. Then pass them through a food mill. Thicken the resulting juice with 1 or 2 packets of custard powder mixed with milk, to taste. Sweeten to taste. Sprinkle with plenty of toasted white bread cubes at the table.
