Granny’s Apple Pancakes

The perfect granny’s apple pancakes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 8 Eggs
  • 300 ml Milk
  • 8 tbsp Sugar
  • 500 g Flour
  • 10 tsp Baking powder
  • 100 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 50 g Chopped hazelnuts
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 10 Apple boskop
  • Vanilla sugar
  • Clarified butter
  1. Mix eggs, milk and sugar, add flour, baking powder, nuts and cinnamon and stir in. Peel the apples as desired, cut out the core, cut the apples into slices crosswise. Heat the oil or clarified butter in a pan. Pre-bake apple slices in cinnamon, refine with a vanilla sugar mill with a little vanilla sugar, depending on your taste.
  2. Mix the apples into the batter and use a small ladle to bake the pancakes on each side of the pan until they are golden brown.
