Grape dessert with amaretti

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 80 g biscuits (amarettini)
  • 400 g grapes, green, seedless
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 250 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 1 lemon(s), untreated, grated peel
  • n. B. Biscuit(s) (Amarettini) for decorating

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Crumble the amaretti biscuits. Wash, pick, and halve the grapes, if desired. Beat the egg whites until stiff, gradually adding 1 tablespoon of sugar. Whisk the mascarpone with the quark, milk, 1 tablespoon of sugar, vanilla sugar, and lemon zest until creamy. Fold in the beaten egg whites. Now layer the crumbled amaretti biscuits (except for 1 tablespoon) and grapes in a bowl, alternating with the mascarpone cream. Finally, garnish with whole amaretti biscuits and the remaining crumbled amaretti biscuits.
