Gratinated pork fillet

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g pork fillet(s)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 500 g tomatoes
  • 2 points mozzarella
  • 1 pot basil, or dried
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut the pork fillet into 1.5 to 2 cm thick medallions. Heat oil in a pan and fry the medallions briefly, turning occasionally. Season well with salt and pepper and remove from the pan. Clean the tomatoes and cut into thick slices. Drain the mozzarella and also slice it. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems. Grease a gratin dish and layer the pork fillet medallions, tomato slices, and mozzarella slices in a fan shape, placing the basil leaves between the individual slices. Drizzle the gratin with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake in a preheated oven (250°C) for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve with crispy fresh ciabatta bread.
