Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion(s), chopped
  • 1 garlic clove(s), chopped
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 350 ml water
  • 500 g green beans
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

good with pan-fried or grilled meat

Heat olive oil, sauté onions and garlic, add tomato paste, and sweat for 1 minute. Deglaze with water and bring to a boil. Add the trimmed green beans and simmer gently uncovered for 45 minutes (only 20 minutes for frozen beans!). Season generously.
