Greek-style flatbread

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 large flatbread(s)
  • 2 tbsp pesto, red
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 onion(s), red, finely chopped
  • 1 jar pepper, cut into rings
  • 400 g minced meat, mixed
  • n. B. Tzatziki, 3 – 4 tbsp per half of bread
  • 1 pack of pizza cheese, grated
  • Salt
  • Gyro spice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the flatbread open to create two flat halves. Spread both halves with pesto and tomato paste, then sprinkle with gyro seasoning and salt. Mince a garlic clove and add it. Place the onion and pepperoni on the flatbreads. Brown the minced meat and season with gyro seasoning, salt, and pepper. Dollop the tzatziki onto the flatbreads, about 3-4 tablespoons per half (don’t spread it out, just sprinkle it on in places). Now place the minced meat directly from the pan onto the flatbreads and sprinkle the pizza cheese on top. Heat in a hot oven at 220°C for about 10 minutes, until the cheese is well melted.
