Green beans with sesame sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g beans, green, cleaned
  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 piece(s) ginger, 6 cm long, peeled, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sherry

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

goes well as a side dish to an Asian barbecue evening

Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan, stirring constantly, until golden brown and set aside. Heat water in the same pan, add the green beans, and cook for 3-4 minutes, then refresh with cold water. Combine the ginger, soy sauce, sesame seeds, and sherry. Mix with the beans and let stand for at least 1 hour.
