Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 12 carrots (bunch carrots)
- 12 slices of bacon
- 12 sage leaves
- possibly rosemary
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Variety on the grill
Trim the carrot greens to about 3 cm and cook until just tender, but still have a bite. Top the cooled carrots with a sage leaf and wrap the bacon around it. Grill the carrots at a moderate heat for about 5 minutes. You can also cook it in the oven. If you don’t like sage, you can also use fresh rosemary.
