Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
simply
First, cut each baguette into thirds and then divide each third into top and bottom halves. Mix the minced meat with the egg and finely chopped onion. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Spread the bottoms of the baguettes first with processed cheese, then with minced meat and place them on a baking tray on the top rack in the hot oven. Add the tops. Remove the tops after 2-3 minutes, otherwise they will burn. Bake the bottoms for about 10-15 minutes; the minced meat should be cooked through; to be on the safe side, cut into a piece to test it. In the meantime, wash, peel and chop the vegetables. Finally, top the baked bottom halves with ketchup, hamburger sauce, fried onions and the vegetables and place the top halves on top. Tip: Use a piece of toast or a roll soaked in milk to make leftover minced meat into meatballs.
