Grilled potato halves

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bag of potatoes (2.5 kg)
  • some oil of your choice
  • some spice mix (chicken seasoning salt)
  • some spice mix (7-herb spice)
  • possibly grated Parmesan cheese, if required

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

super fast and delicious

Wash the potatoes, halve them, and place them on a baking sheet. Brush them very thinly with oil (I now have an oil sprayer so it’s really just a touch). Use good quality oil: thistle, peanut, olive, etc. Sprinkle half of the potatoes with chicken seasoning salt (my children prefer this). The other half with herb seasoning (e.g. from Fuchs). Tip: If you like, you can also sprinkle them with a little Parmesan. Bake in a hot oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes, until they are nice and crispy. My children love them with poultry at barbecues in the summer, as a side dish, or simply with herb quark or a dip (I think it’s better than putting fries in the oven), or with my arugula spread salad, which you can also find here.
