Guinness ribs

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 kg ribs
  • 500 g soup vegetables
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 4 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 2 can/n beer (Guinness beer) of 440 ml
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 450 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 5 juniper berries

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Perfect for grill and oven

Add the soup vegetables, onions, garlic, and spices to the pot along with 400 ml of broth and a can of Guinness. Add the ribs. Simmer for an hour for firmer meat; 2 hours for meat that’ll fall off the bone. Mix a little Guinness with barbecue sauce and spread it on the cooked ribs. Place them on the grill for a short while. Drink the remaining beer.
