Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g meat (gyros), marinated
- 1 onion(s)
- 3 carrots
- 1 red pepper
- 200 g pasta
- 300 ml broth
- 50 ml cream
- 100 g cheese, grated
- 3 tsp tomato paste
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Slice the onion and fry the gyro with the onion until well browned. Then add the tomato paste and fry briefly again. Cut the carrots into 1/2 cm pieces and add to the gyro. Slowly deglaze with the broth and simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, dice the bell peppers and add to the gyro. Season generously with salt, pepper, and any other spices you like. Place the raw pasta in a baking dish and top with the gyro and vegetables. Pour the cream over the pasta and cover with the grated cheese. Cook at 175°C for about 45 minutes.
