Gyros – Spätzle – Casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg meat (gyros)
  • 500 g spaetzle
  • 2 cans of mushrooms
  • oregano
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 pack of sauce powder, light
  • 250 ml milk
  • salt and pepper
  • Garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Fry the gyros. Cook the spaetzle, drain the mushrooms. Mix everything else except the oregano. Layer the spaetzle, gyros, mushrooms, oregano, spaetzle, etc. in a casserole dish. Pour the sauce over the top. Bake at 175 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes. Tip: Prepare the day before.
