Gyros
The perfect gyros recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 600 g Pork schnitzel
- 2 tsp Oregano
- 2 tsp Thyme
- 3 tsp Sweet paprika
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 2 tsp Garlic powder
- 2 Onions
- Salt
- 150 ml Olive oil
- 2 Splash Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Mustard hot
- Pepper
- Wash the meat, pat dry and cut into wafer-thin strips.
- Peel the onions and cut into strips. Mix the garlic powder with the meat and the other ingredients and marinate in the refrigerator for about 1 – 2 days.
- Fry in portions in a very hot pan and keep warm. Serve hot.
