Ham and leek pasta with cheese sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g tagliatelle pasta
  • 400 g diced ham
  • 2 bunch of spring onions
  • 400 g cream cheese
  • 500 ml vegetable stock
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. cayenne pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

without cream

Cook the tagliatelle pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Trim the spring onions, slice them into rings, and sauté them with the diced ham. Add the pasta and sauté briefly. Add the vegetable stock and cheese and stir. Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. I always add a little chili powder, too. When the desired consistency is reached, keep the pasta warm and let it marinate for a while, or if you can’t wait, eat it right away. It’s also delicious without the cheese sauce and can be varied to suit your taste.
