Apple and Onion Chop
The perfect apple and onion chop recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 Chop
- 2 tablespoon Mustard
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 Onions
- 3 Apples
- 5 tablespoon Bread flour
- 4 tablespoon Parsley chopped fresh
- Butter flakes
- Wash the chops, pat dry and fry vigorously in a pan with hot oil.
- Grease a baking dish, brush the chops with mustard on both sides, season with salt and pepper and place in the baking dish.
- Peel the onions and apples, cut them into slices and fry them in the meat stock of the cutlet until golden.
- Pour the mixture over the chop.
- Mix the breadcrumbs and the parsley over the cutlet, sprinkle the apple and onion mixture and put it in the oven at 200 ° C for 15-20 minutes until the breadcrumbs are golden-yellow and crispy.
- Shortly before the end of the cooking time, add a few flakes of butter to the breadcrumbs and parsley mixture.
- Now take everything out of the oven, let it rest a little and add seasoning if necessary.
- Since hubby doesn’t like to eat mashed potatoes, which of course goes very well with it, we ate potatoes
