Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 pack of cream cheese or sour cream (approx. 200 g)
- 50 g ham of your choice
- 100 g bacon cubes
- 1 half bell pepper(s)
- 1 pack of puff pastry (refrigerated counter)
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Wash the bell pepper and cut it into very small cubes, just like the ham. Mix the bell pepper, bacon, and ham cubes with the cream cheese or sour cream in a bowl and season with salt and pepper (and herbs or other spices to taste). Spread the contents of the bowl over the rolled-out puff pastry, leaving a free edge of about 2-3 cm wide on the side you’ll be rolling towards. Then carefully roll up the pastry, ideally evenly, and cut out 3-cm-wide snails from each one. Place on a prepared baking sheet. Place the snails in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan oven) for about 10-15 minutes, until they’re crispy and golden.
