Ingredients for 24 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 125 g margarine
  • 250 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 250 g smoked meat, diced

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Knead all ingredients except the smoked meat cubes into a dough and let it rest for 1 hour. Then roll out the dough and cut out triangles. Distribute the smoked meat cubes on the triangles and roll them into croissants. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes. Done! You can also bake these croissants for 10 minutes, then freeze them once cooled. Remove them when needed and bake for the remaining 10 minutes.
